My research interests are varied. I meld fieldwork, museum specimens and large datasets, particularly those collected by citizen scientists, to address evolutionary ecology questions. I am currently exploring machine learning approaches to power my work and am bending my focus increasingly towards conservation and monitoring work. This page is horribly out of date, and Google Scholar is a better place to learn about my recent work. As of July 2023 I am slowly beginning to update this--see the pull down menu in Research above for a few examples.
